— The experience

Real strokes. Real effort. Virtual river.

The Boating Simulator puts you in a kayak seat facing a large display filled with rushing water, rocky gorges and winding river channels. Every move you make on the paddle handles is translated directly into steering and speed on screen — lean into a powerful forward stroke to accelerate, ease off to drift, or pull one side to carve around an obstacle.

Because the control is purely physical, no buttons or joysticks, the experience rewards genuine paddling technique. Short, fast strokes build sprint speed for a finish-line dash; long, balanced pulls keep you steady through narrow chutes. It is an upper-body and core workout disguised as a race.

River scenes change with each run — tranquil stretches give way to white-water gates, floating logs and tight bends that demand split-second coordination. Whether you are a first-timer finding your rhythm or a repeat player shaving seconds off your best time, every session feels different.

— Why it hits different

Four things that make paddling this fun.

01

Genuine paddle mechanics

The paddle handles respond to both push and pull force, so the strokes you make are the strokes that count — technique matters as much as energy.

Immersive river visuals

Dynamic on-screen river scenes sync with your pace — the faster you paddle, the faster the current rushes past. Rapids and obstacles react to your steering in real time.

— Good to know

Frequently asked.

Do I need kayaking experience?

Not at all. The paddle handles move intuitively — push forward to go straight, pull one side to turn. Most guests are in full control within the first thirty seconds.

How physically demanding is it?

It is a genuine upper-body workout. The intensity is up to you — a steady paddle gives a moderate workout, while an all-out sprint will really get your arms and core firing. Take breaks between sessions if needed.

Can children have a go?

Yes, younger guests are welcome as long as they meet the age and height requirements signposted at the zone entrance and can comfortably reach both paddle handles while seated.

Can we race each other at the same time?

That depends on the number of units available in the zone. Ask a crew member on the day — side-by-side racing is the most fun way to play.
