— The experience

Your whole body drives the mountain.

The skiing simulator translates one of the mountain's great skills into an indoor platform: every movement you make with your feet and body directly controls what happens on screen. Shift your weight to the left and the skis arc that way; press forward and the slope drops away beneath you as your speed climbs.

Unlike joystick or button-based rides, there's nothing to hold. The feedback loop runs entirely through your stance — which means your first few seconds feel exactly like real skiing muscle memory kicking in. Beginners discover the balance instinctively; experienced skiers will recognise the rhythm of a clean carved turn almost immediately.

Tracks are set to adjustable difficulty levels, so you can start on a gentle groomed piste and graduate to steeper, tighter courses once you've found your edge. Each run builds spatial awareness and core balance in ways that transfer directly to the real slopes — making this one of the most genuinely useful experiences in the venue.

    Choose your track

Pick a difficulty level — from a wide beginner piste to a demanding technical course.
  3. 03

    Shift to steer

Lean left or right to initiate turns; press forward or backward to manage your speed.
  4. 04

    Hit the finish line

Complete your run, check your time, and choose a harder track for the next attempt.
— Why it hits different

Four things that make it feel like a real slope.

Weight-sensing ski platform

Sensors under each ski read your lateral and fore-aft weight distribution in real time — so the simulation responds to genuine skiing movements, not button presses.

Real alpine mechanics

Turns, braking and downhill acceleration all respond to the same body mechanics as the real sport — shifting weight, edging and managing the fall line.

Safety & suitability.

The skiing simulator is a balance-based standing experience. Our crew will give you a quick stance demo before your first run.

  • Wear grip socks for a stable, secure stance on the skis — bare feet are not permitted.
  • Not recommended if you have knee, ankle or lower-back conditions or are pregnant, as the stance places load on these joints.
  • Stow bags, drinks and loose items before stepping on — hands should be free for natural balance.
  • A minimum height applies for safe binding fit and correct weight-sensing posture — the current limit is signposted at the zone entrance.
  • Step off the platform at any time — the simulation pauses automatically when sensors detect you've dismounted.
  • Arrive 5 minutes early for the stance demo so your first run starts confidently.
— Good to know

Frequently asked.

Do I need to know how to ski?

No prior skiing experience is needed. The platform responds to natural weight shifts, so most first-timers find their steering instinct within the first minute. If you've skied before, you'll feel the familiar edge-to-edge rhythm almost immediately.

How do I turn and stop?

Turning is controlled by shifting your body weight left or right across the ski platform — the same hip-and-ankle mechanics as real skiing. To slow down or brake, shift your weight back, just as you would on an actual slope.

What difficulty levels are available?

Tracks are available across multiple difficulty settings, from gentle beginner pistes with wide, forgiving turns to steeper courses with tighter lines. You choose your track before each run and can step up as your confidence grows.

Is it good for people who want to learn skiing before a real trip?

Absolutely. The weight-shift mechanics are a genuine analogue for the balance and edge control used in real alpine skiing. Many guests use it to build muscle memory and confidence before hitting an actual mountain.

Can children use the skiing simulator?

Children who meet the minimum height signposted at the zone entrance are welcome. The beginner difficulty tracks are suitable for younger riders, and a crew member will walk them through the stance before they start.
