— The experience

Your whole body is the controller.

VR Large Space is a dedicated free-roam arena where the virtual world maps directly onto the physical floor. You walk, duck, sprint and point as you would in real life — the headset tracks your position continuously so the environment always feels exactly where it should be.

Choose from a rotation of mission types: squad-based shooting where you clear waves of enemies room by room, open-world exploration quests that reward curiosity, and co-op puzzle scenarios that demand communication and quick thinking under pressure.

Because every player occupies the same real space, moments of connection hit differently than seated VR — you can glance left and see a teammate crouched behind cover, feel the shared tension before a push, and celebrate wins face-to-face the moment the headsets come off.

— Why it hits different

Four things that make it genuinely immersive.

player free-roaming in VR arena
01

True free-roam movement

No joystick locomotion and no teleportation — you physically walk through every environment, which removes the cognitive gap that makes seated VR feel like a game.

multiplayer squad gameplay
02

Squad-based multiplayer

See and coordinate with teammates as real figures in the virtual world. Strategy, banter and last-second rescues all happen in the same shared space.

mission type variety
03

Multiple mission types

Shooting missions, exploration adventures and logic-driven puzzle quests keep every visit different — no two runs through the arena feel the same.

04

High-resolution hand tracking

Pick up objects, pull triggers and solve puzzles with natural hand gestures — the headset reads your fingers so the interactions feel tactile rather than abstract.

— Before you play

Safety & suitability.

Free-roam VR involves active physical movement in a shared space. Our crew briefs every player before the session and monitors the arena throughout.

  • Virtual boundaries display in-headset if you approach the arena edge — stop immediately when you see the warning grid.
  • Not advised if you're pregnant or have epilepsy, vertigo, or conditions affected by strobe-like lighting.
  • Remove glasses with protruding frames, dangly earrings and lanyards — all must be stowed before you enter the arena.
  • Staff monitors every session live and can pause the experience instantly — signal a thumbs-down to stop at any time.
  • Minimum age and height limits are signposted at the zone entrance and strictly enforced for correct headset fit and safe movement.
  • Arrive 10 minutes early for headset fitting and a walkthrough of the arena boundaries.
— Good to know

Frequently asked.

What do I actually do in there?

You choose from a rotation of mission types — shooting, exploration or puzzle-solving — and complete objectives by physically moving around the arena. There is no controller for locomotion; you simply walk to where you want to go inside the virtual world.

Can I play solo or does it require a group?

You can enter with as few as one player, though the experience is designed around squad co-operation. Missions scale in difficulty based on group size, and the shooting and puzzle modes are most satisfying with two or more players.

Will I bump into other players or walls?

The arena tracking system keeps all players visible to each other inside the headset as virtual avatars, so collisions are rare. If you approach the physical boundary, a virtual warning grid appears in your view well before you reach the wall.

Is it suitable for people new to VR?

Yes — free-roam VR is actually gentler on VR newcomers than seated experiences that use joystick movement, because your body is moving in sync with what you see. Staff will take you through a short orientation before the session begins.

How long is each session and can we replay different missions?

Session length is signposted at the zone entrance. After your first run you can choose a different mission type for subsequent sessions — each mission type has its own storyline and mechanics, so there is real replay value.
