— The experience

Above the clouds — no plane ticket needed.

VR Paraglider recreates the complete arc of a skydive in a compact indoor setup. The moment you raise your arms and the virtual aircraft door opens, the platform subtly shifts beneath you, reinforcing every cue your eyes send to your brain. The sensation of rushing air, the blur of altitude, the weightless pause before the chute deploys — all of it is engineered to feel genuinely real.

The experience is divided into three distinct phases: the gut-punch rush of free fall, the jarring-yet-relieving pop of the parachute opening, and the long peaceful glide as you steer toward the landing zone far below. Each phase uses a different combination of VR visuals and platform movement, so the ride never feels repetitive from start to finish.

Because the motion comes from the platform beneath your feet rather than a seat harness, your whole body registers the experience — making it one of the most visceral VR attractions at PLAYON and a guaranteed talking point long after you leave the zone.

You stand still on the platform — the sensation of flight comes entirely from the VR and motion system, so anyone can jump, regardless of fitness or nerve.

Safety & suitability.

VR Paraglider is a standing immersive experience with active motion underfoot. Our team checks every guest before the session begins.

  • Not advised if you're pregnant or have heart, back, or severe motion-sickness conditions — the free-fall sequence is highly immersive.
  • A minimum height applies and is strictly enforced to ensure stable footing on the platform — the current limit is signposted at the zone entrance.
  • Remove glasses, hats, and loose accessories before fitting the VR headset; secure all personal items in the provided tray.
  • Staff can end the session immediately — raise your hand or call out at any point if you feel unwell or disoriented.
  • Keep both feet flat on the platform at all times; do not jump or step off during the session.
  • Arrive 5 minutes early for headset fitting and the standing-posture safety brief.
— Good to know

Frequently asked.

Is this actual skydiving?

No — VR Paraglider is a fully indoor simulation. You stand on a motion platform wearing VR goggles; the combination of visuals and platform movement replicates the physical sensations of free fall and paragliding without any real altitude or risk.

Will I feel motion sick?

The experience is designed to be comfortable for most guests, but the free-fall phase is highly immersive. If you know you're sensitive to VR or motion, let staff know beforehand — they can adjust settings or recommend you try a shorter trial before committing to a full session.

Do I need to stand the whole time?

Yes — the experience is designed as a standing simulation. The platform shifts underfoot, so you need stable footing throughout. Guests who cannot stand unaided are not able to participate.

Can I wear my own glasses?

Standard prescription glasses may not fit comfortably inside the VR headset. Our headsets accommodate a degree of near/far-sightedness via built-in diopter adjustment — ask staff to help you dial it in before the session begins.

How long does the experience last?

The full process including headset fitting and the safety brief typically takes a few minutes longer than the ride itself — the crew can confirm the current runtime at the platform.
